Before executing AVPLAN, you must first unzip the file DATAFILE.ZIP.
This file when unzipped, will produce the fifty-five data files that
make up the database for AVPLAN. If you are using 360K floppy disks,
then this file will need to be unzipped onto a second floppy. This
should be done before attempting to install AVPLAN for your system.
If you have made it this far then you have a de-archiving utility
that is compatible with the AVPLAN archive. If you are de-archiving
AVPLAN30.ZIP onto a single 360K floppy, you will also notice that
the last file in the archive, DATAFILE.ZIP did not fit onto the disk.
You can de-archive that file only, to a second formatted disk using
PKWARE's PKUNZIP program and the following syntax:
PKUNZIP AVPLAN30.ZIP DATAFILE.ZIP B:
(This assumes that B: drive is your second drive)
You should then use your copy of the de-archive utility on that
disk to unpack the database from DATAFILE.ZIP
De-archiving AVPLAN30.ZIP onto a 720K or higher floppy or a hard
drive will not involve this extra step as all of the files will fit.
Please refer to the installation instructions in the documentation
file, AVPLAN30.DOC for additional information on installing and using
AVPLAN.
